I started my business to transition from corporate and call centre work into cooperative economics and trades. my goal was to achieve better work-life balance for improved mental wellbeing for myself and family while serving my community. Now I promote self care and self-development, have embraced the natural hair movement and offer Loc Services, including scalp treatments and hair care education and associated merchandise.

My business model is based on Cooperative economics, a successful alternative to industrial capitalism that prioritizes community involvement and collaboration.
The success of my business has not been solely due to my efforts. I've had the support and guidance of Sonia Williams, a mentor and friend who has always encouraged me to educate myself and be disciplined in self-development within the hair and scalp industry and wellness.
I have also received tremendous backing from my partner and children, lifelong friends and family members, as well as other business owners with whom I collaborate daily. My gratitude extends to them for making this journey one filled with education, creativity, laughter, and prioritizing business goals.
